Founded by a veteran, Guardian is a family-owned firm bringing together two generations of project leadership and owner representation. JP and Jack McGowan each bring decades of experience leading significant projects throughout Central and South Florida, with careers shaped by working alongside owners, designers, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders through every phase of project delivery.
Together, they bring the experience, expertise, and technical capabilities expected from a larger firm with the direct involvement and personal accountability of a small one. At Guardian, clients work directly with the people responsible for their project. There are no unnecessary layers between the owner and the experience they hired.
That is the standard behind Guardian's approach to project management. We believe in a different kind of representation, one where the owner's role is supported, not replaced. We work alongside owners to provide experienced guidance and project leadership, helping navigate difficult decisions, anticipate risk, align the project team, and maintain accountability throughout the process.
Every project will bring challenges and changing conditions along the way. Our role is to help the owner and project team navigate those realities while keeping the purpose behind the investment at the forefront. For two generations, that standard has been grounded in transparency, collaboration, accountability, and the belief that successful representation begins with understanding what the owner sets out to accomplish.
